Let’s Build a Better Ward 3 Together

Why Your Vote on December 9th Matters

Voting day is Monday, December 9th. This is your chance to help shape the future of Ward 3.

For my neighbours in Lower West, voting is easy. The Carleton Community Centre is your polling station, and it’s just a short walk away. My neighbour Art told me he’s skipping advance voting uptown at Brunswick Square because it’s so much easier to vote close to home.

Your vote is powerful regardless of where you live. It decides who will represent your concerns and work to make our community better.

What I’ve Heard From You

Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many of you. Hearing your concerns and ideas has been the best part of this campaign. Each neighbourhood in Ward 3 has unique priorities:

  • Lower West: People here care about quality of life. They’re focused on reducing industrial impacts and building stronger community connections.

  • Peninsula: Homelessness and mental health are the biggest concerns. Many people feel unsafe walking in their neighbourhoods, which isn’t acceptable in such a walkable area.

  • East Side: The same issues are present, but people describe them as nuisances rather than crises. Even so, there’s a shared desire for real solutions that show compassion.

Across Ward 3, people want action. They want practical solutions that balance compassion and community safety.

Why I’m Running

This campaign has brought me closer to my neighbours, and it’s been an incredible experience. I’ve learned so much about what you want for our community, and I’m ready to make those ideas a reality.

If elected, I will:

  • Focus on Affordable, Safe Housing: Everyone deserves a secure place to call home.

  • Improve Health and Safety: Streets should be safe and walkable. I’ll work to address homelessness and mental health issues with compassion and practical solutions.

  • Protect Quality of Life: Industrial growth should respect the people who live here.

  • Support Local Jobs and Businesses: Let’s grow opportunities right here in Ward 3.

  • Listen and Be Transparent: I’ll keep communication open and make sure your voices are heard.

Your Vote Can Make a Difference

Voting is the most important way to make your voice count. On December 9th, choose a representative who will work hard for you. Together, we can make Ward 3 a better place for everyone.

Thank you for your support. I hope to earn your vote.

Candidate for Saint John Council, Ward 3
